'ADVENTURE CRUISE' Holiday Bible Club - Monday 20th to Friday 24th July 2009
We had a great week during the summer holidays when we opened the doors to over 60 children for our 'Adventure Cruise' Holiday Bible Club. Each day the children enjoyed games, crafts, stories, drama, puppets, songs and time with friends. Through all of this they also learnt how much God loves them and something about what it means to follow Jesus. At the end of the week families joined us for the Sausage Sizzle and the Celebration service both of which were lots of fun. A fantastic team of helpers worked really hard all week - serving in a variety of ways including:- leading & helping in the groups, making coffee, cooking at the BBQ, operating the sound & laptop, registration, praying from home, washing up, face painting, running a creche, organising games, performing puppet sketches and drama scenes, leading the singing, mopping tables/floors baking cakes and serving food. I was especially impressed with our teenagers who helped all week, they worked so hard, with enthusiasm and with energy, giving up their time and often being 'fools for Christ'! We are so blessed to have these wonderful and gifted young people in our Church. It really was fantastic to see so many children in the church and so many people working together and I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped and supported the Holiday Bible Club in any way - YOU were part of sowing seeds of God's love and truth into the lives of many children this summer, let's continue to pray that those seeds will bear much fruit.

Spring Harvest - 25th to 30th March 2008
This year a large proportion of our young people and leaders went to Skegness for Spring Harvest, and as they all came back completely shattered, I think they must have enjoyed it!! Click here for a full report.
'AWAKENING 2008' - 3 Day Youth Event - 13th to 15th February 2008
This wasthree fantastic afternoons of dance, drama, music, guitar workshops, sports, games and other activities and three 'loud' evenings of live bands . It was open to all young people in secondary school. Many churches across the town were involved in this event, and many of our Christian young people invited their non Christian friends to an exciting Christian event that gave many young people the chance to hear about Jesus - which can only be a good thing!
