What is a Home Group?

This is a group of people drawn from the St George's Family who meet together regularly in a home (or even at Church!). We have seven groups currently, with a total membership of over 60
What is it for?
To enable the members of a small group to get to know and care for one another, and help each other grow in the Christian life. The groups are really appreciated by long-standing and new members alike.
What happens in a Home Group?
Each group develops it's own particular style of sharing and learning together, drawing on the ingredients of worship, prayer, Bible focused study / discussion, and maybe even a "cuppa". Leading is shared among those members of the group who feel happy to do so, and the subject may be of their own choosing or part of a prearranged series. Meetings typically last 1½ to 2 hours.
